Hi I have interest in science and space especially, but i didn't at school and didn't pay any attention in science class so ive got very little knowledge of the subject. I know some of the basic theories of cosmology but have no grounding in them - would anyone be so kind as to recommend me a book which will explain the basic principles behind the subject - Preferably one that wont just reel off facts as i already have a fair few of these but no substance behind them. I am willing to try to digest some equations if required Thanks for reading

Cosmology is a religion....not a science......it will not help you learn about the universe. If you want real science, try this site: www.nasa.gov Tom

Not a problem. You may have been thinking of one of the other cosmologies listed below. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmology
