Nothing still beats final fantasy 7 for me. If you however are having us compare ff8 to ff10, then yes... ff8 for me is definitely 20 times better because of the music and the story, well that's just me anyway. Now for ff10-2, I don't even want to consider that game a final fantasy game. Lol

I've said this plenty of times, but FF8 is my total fave out of the whole series. All my favorite characters are in that game. I love the storyline and the world they are in. Hard to believe that next year that game is going to be 10 years old!

Yess, I definitely have to agree with you. Among the other FF series, FF8 was the one I loved the most. I fell in love with the characters and the storyline. Ahahaha... It's some kind of a love story for me, and like there's some kind of twist of fate with the relationships starting from their parents (Squall and Rinoa's). I don't have a PS1 anymore because it's broken already, but I'd definitely want to return to the world of FF8 once more and witness Squall and Rinoa's love story!! Nyahahaha!!:P
Can I just release this here, please? The song Eyes on Me is just the greatest song ever in the FF series... I think the song was really for Laguna and Julia-the pianist. Julia was Laguna's first love, but because of fate and the war they were parted. Laguna found Raine, while Julia found the General (I dunno the name). And their children, Squall and Rinoa, were like Laguna and Julia reunited!! This was the twist of fate I'm trying to say... That's why I really love FF8 so much..^_^

I think you're talking about General Caraway!(Can't believe that I still remember him) hahaha!
Well as for the story, I guess it is one of really the best that I've seen. Not even those new installments of FF can match that, and the song really got stuck in my heart!;) It's very special and meaningful, and I was very happy that you appreciate it too!;)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, God bless..

ff8 is relatively easy to finish. just draw the right magic spells, junction and limit break all the way. eyes on me is really good, next would be the theme of ff9. =)

Final Fantasy 8 is better than those. I've only played demos of 10 and 10/2, and although the newer ones are pretty, playing ff8 just seems more fun. FF7 is still my fav, yay Sephiroth!
