Was Elvis Presley really as great as many want us to believe he was? I believe he was a really great performer, singer, Rocker. But was he the greatest Rock Star up till his death? Or up to after that. Or only up till when Michael Jackson, at the height of his career, replaced him? Statistics of course now show that Elvis have sold more records than any other performer alive. But then does that includes after death sales? I believe the estimate of Elvis' records totals sold, is over 1 billion records. according to stats 60% of this was sold in the USA 40% in other countries. That is really an achievement that will stand for many, many years. But was Elvis really that great? Or was he greater in death than life?

I believe that there will always be greater persons than those before them. Someday stats will show up that there is someone who surpasses his predesesor. So even if Elvis is up to now the 'Greatest R/Star,' He will not remain that. That's just my take on this.
