what would you do when you computer went down

I sit and stare at a blank screen and pout :-) When it happened and I knew I was going to be without for a few days I went and got my parent's computer and brought it back home here, then spent my time yelling at it because it didn't have my favourite sites bookmarked for me and I couldn't find some of them, or because it wouldn't do things my computer does :-)

I was without my computer for 5 days in October when we were without power for a storm. I would have gone crazy if I didn't have my laptop. The only thing was that I had to drive 45 minutes to a family member's house to charge it up- I had to do this twice! Luckily I have a wireless connection in it. Another problem is that when you have no power you have no lights, so once it got dark out I was back to living like an Amish person.
