I like prince just like many people do. He is having such a talent that rare of singers have. He is great. But i am in doubt whether he will stay great for a long time. Do you think that prince will be great and will be the greatest like michael jackson?

Prince will have an eternal contribution to music. Poor Michael Jackson is fading and unfortunately, ungracefully. The scandal and the selling of Neverland Ranch is a bust for him. Better switch to producing. Prince will remain a performer( he will be performing February 4, at the Super Bowl) and we will not have worry about wardrobe malfunctions.

yeah, it is a bit pity for Michael. So wardrobe for prince is okay? it's a bit feminine.

Unlike Jackson, Prince seems to have a relatively normal life. And, I think that will help him maintain his longevity.

Calling anyone "the greatest" when it comes to music is kinda silly. The greatest at what? If I wanted a perfectly crafted three-minute pop song, I'd call MJ. If I wanted an extended funk workout with James Brown-style horns, I'd call Prince. Saving the planet, MJ. Seducing your girl, Prince. There's enough room in the Hall of Fame for both of them.

I think Prince will always have respect as a musician, whether or not he is popular in the mainstream. His popularity ebbs and flows. I mean, his first album came out in 1978 and in a couple of days he will be performing during the SuperBowl, so he has clout for sure. It is not common that someone comes along that plays all instruments except horns, can sing, produce his own music, compose his on music, write his own music, and perform it alone, too. He is a musical genius and many musicians would give anything to perform with him or simply work with him. Simply put, Prince is one of the greatest musicians of all time, whether people dig his music or not, or anyone does fifty years from now. :)
