What's the best laptop for a teenager?

A friend of mine (teenager...not a bussiness man) is looking for a laptop and he doesn't know which one to choose. Can you help?

Since he is a teenager and is only going to use the laptop for personal use and to do some school works, I suggest that he buys an Acer laptop, a basic one, with 512Mb of memory and basic stuff, it might cost about $700
