I also think that a laptop is a better choice. The laptop is so easy to carry anywhere even if you are in the mall for some coffee. Thanks for your response.

Thank you for your response. I know that a laptop is more expensive than a desktop, but I was thinking of wireless internet connection in some places like the mall where you could just hang around in the coffee shop and bring your laptop and surf the net through wireless for free. I think its very nice right. I just hope I could save enough money foor a laptop. Thanks and have a nice day!

It is very easy to transport your lap top especially in the cafe where there is a wifi connection. Although an advantage of the desktop is the easy upgrading and it is a lot cheaper than the laptop. Thank you for responding.

desktop, it is more durable, and faster I believe. Laptops are good for traveling, but I think they crash alot more often, and just dont run as fast. Well thats my experience with them.

I would also like to have both, and like you I only have a desktop computer. It would be nice to have both so you could do wireless internet in some places like the coffe shop.

the laptop is more versatile and would more likely to suit me as i would be more likely to travel and have less time to run reports. laptops would enable you to do such things under little space and you could add more value to your time since you can do some reports while travelling. so laptops for me!

I do think you are right that laptops are very suitable for travelers. I would also like browsing in areas where there is a wifi connection. Thank you for your response.

I have both and a Palm OS. The desktop is better and you are less tired at the end of the day. But if you are using the pc for few hours a day you can use a laptop.

I have one of each, and I prefer the desk top. I frequently manage to touch something wrong and send whatever I am typing on my laptop into oblivion. How frustrating. I also do not have a mouse for it, and so find it harder to navigate.

although i understand that many may prefer a laptop do to the fact that it can be used anywhere or "brought along" i still prefer my pc becuase i type alot and i have a harder time typing on a laptop.. if its actually ON your lap its not "ergonomically correct"! lol

I have both a desktop PC and a laptop. The desktop is a Dell and my laptop is a Toshiba. I use my laptop when traveling or if I am going to be somewhere away from home for a extended period of time. I use my desktop when I am at home. Since I work full time from my home for a great online company Both of these get used all the time no matter where I go I can still get my work done.

I have a dell desktop. I'm in college and most people have lap tops but I love my desktop computer. It's harder to set up and take down at the end and beginning of semesters but I hate the keyboards on laptops and I would much rather have a larger screen. I think i made the right decision with a desktop in college. What do you have?

I go for laptop. Because you can bring it anywhere even during campings.
