Yes I notice this older generations live more days with their family members. In both cases live long life and live with their partner now divorce is common but at that time no divorce was common.

The average life span of people nowadays in fact is longer compared to ancient time due to the advancement of pharmaceutical technology and better living quality. Younger generations today is less healthy bcoz of their life style and pollution. Young people tends to eat delicious but less nutritious food, go to bed late in the night and wake up late in the morning, skip breakfast in the morning, less excercise and having excessive time before computer. Other environmental effect which impact their health is the air pollution, water pollution and food pollution (pesticide).

I don't think that's correct. I believe we live longer today than in previous generations. With advancements, people are living longer.

Today's lifestyle is very stressful.A person has to balance home, work, family & finances. All this leads to less time to concentrate on the really important things like health. No time leads to quick eating solutions also which are not healthy. The usage of junk food is much higher for this generation than it was for older generations. I guess all this contributes to people suffering from more and more diseases and living shorter lives.

Uhm.... it's strange you say such things.... infact I noticed the contrary.... maybe I am wrong, but it seems to me that people live longer than the older generations.
A simple life is very important and infact our frantic and stressing life isn't good for our health, but science made great progress, and so we can count on a lot of possibilities older generations didn't have.
I still have my two grandmothers, one is 90 years old and the other 91, in my town there are many ninety-year-old people. I think science can help us very much.

I do believe that the older generations do live longer and I feel its because they took better care of themselves. Today I believe people live with a lot more stress and have greater financial burdens. Im not saying that life was perfect for the older generations but something has definitely changed.

Hmmm, I think people live longer now than they used to. You see more people in their 70s and 80s who are not just alive but active. Better health care, better knowledge about medical conditions and healthy living, etc. are helping people live longer, in my opinion.

Yes it is a noticeable fact. With races advancing age is reducing.but as medicines develop to even more advanced ones the people with defective genes are reproducing and hence leading to a weaker progeny and hence lower age. There is nothing that can be done about it.

The last line you have specified is very true, simple life does mean living longer.Nowadays their are a lot of artificial stuff in the market available and we rarely get something fresh and healthy,on the contrary in the olden days people used to have a lot of healthy food and live their life close to nature and that helps them to live longer.

Yes, because my grandfather is still with us. He is now 86 and still active except his listening skills that as "depreciated" but still his mind is really really up. I don't have the formats of his existence except his moving habit. He needs to move to work to keep his being fit and live longer (according to him). I dont have any idea regarding the influence of advancement if we could live longer. Yes, simple life can contribute to living us longer and of course, our faith as well.

NO buddy older generations used to die a lot younger then us. They use to even die at the age of 40, 50 or 60. Nowadays life expectancy is higher. Notice that. Life expectancy used to b 40's before. Now its 60's in most countries, 70's in few and 80's in some countries. So we are living longer nowadays.

Yes, people of old day's live longer and all is well among them.this is mainly because of the eating habits we have now.We tend to eat all junk food and not like old people who used to work hard and eat only what is good and at those times these sorts of junk foods were not available also....isn't it?

It's all based on the lifestyle of the people in a certain place and the dishes they eat....not the least, the condition of the place they live in.

its because the environment is much healthier before. And the food they eat are fresher and healthier. as for today's genration, you can fast food evrywhere, junk foods ect. plus there are lots of self inflicted disease. people are more acquainted with the fast pace of life they don;t even have time to think about tomorrow.

Really? I have not noticed that yet,but I should say mankinds nowaday live longer than before. I think what you mentioned is just a minority. peopele's average life-span in the world is much longer than what was 100 years ago when most of the countries in the wold were undeveloped. Now most of us are living a ease life with the development of economy and science. I do know many healthy oldmen around me who are more than 80 years old. It has ever been thought to be very lucky thing if a oldman in a familly is 70 years old. But now it is a usual thing that many oldmen are still healthy at their ages of more than 80.
Have a good day!
