I was late for my interview today... bounce back?

I was late for my interview today. I go lost and could not find my way. I finally called he office and they gave me directions which were quite different from those on mapquest. Now they rescheduled my interview for Friday, how do I bounce back? If I was in their shoes, I would probably not hire myself for being late (poor first impression).
