ever had a "top of the line" product that quit on you?

a lot of consumers US and Europe mainly are really fond of buying a lot of high tech products. Receivers, hdtv's, ipod, computers, dvd. we can't deny that even if its a fad we buy them and learn to love them. but isn't it frustrating when they break dwon at the supposed to be- most important time of your life? Hdtv doesn't work on thanksgiving, receivers don't give you 5.1 surround, computers froze, dvd wont accept any disc. And what's worst repair centers are miles away! Turn around time for repair is almost two weeks! if that is not annoying and frustrating then i don't know what would be the appropriate word! you got any horror stories?

yes today actually. this guy was like oo u got the best top of the line air compressed hammer n like n hour into the jo it just broke apart.
