Do you think is worth it to spend billions and billions in space projects?

What's the benefits for us if there were life in Mars, for instance?
The only thing is worth it is placing satellites out in orbit because we can "touch" the benefits.
I know I sound like an ignorant, but believe me I love, learning, growing, I love astronomy, I love Knowledge in general. I think this is a matter of priorities.

well you questioned and answered yourself. really it is worth. if there will be places where human beings can survive then we will have more reasons to explore more, touch the height of development to a bigger arena. and it might solve a lot of resource problems present on earth.
