What did you think of Marissa Copper dying last season on the show?

I love the Oc.I never miss an episode..I was so shocked and disapointed though of last season when the character Marissa Copper died in the car accident.I really liked that actress..I always wanted her to end up with Ryan..What do other fans of the Oc think?I would like to know if you feel the same way i do..

I did like her. I am really liking Ryan & Taylor this season. I can't wait to see how they turn out especially after the episode yesterday.

I watched the episode yesterday it was really good.Its crazy how they both Taylor and Ryan can communicate or feel things at the same time.I also cant wait for next week to find out how Julie and Kristens friendship will be now that Julie is fired from work.Should be very Cliff hanging.

I felt that way at first, but I know I like the show more without her. She just gave off an air that I didn't like and didn't realize it until she was gone.
I do love the show though and never miss it. But now I must find it online or try and get an anntenne to get it, because our cable company had to get rid of FOX and hopes to get it back..but who knows if they will. *sigh*

Thanks for responding.Dont get me wrong i still love the show..Its just that i really wanted her and Ryan to end up together who knows perhaps even get married..They added alot of new characters this season.

I watch the OC Religiously, I've never missed an episode and I own the seasons. I read the spoilers befor hand and I knew Marissa was going to die, or well, get into a car accident. I just really hoped she'd live. The OC Is still as amazing as ever to me, with Taylor in it, she's helarious. I don't know, I miss Mischa, she made the show what it was.. But it's still an awesome show.

I agree with you.The show is amazzing because the storylines re unpredictable.Since the first episode when ryan comes home to an empty apartment the show has been big.Since that episode i never miss one.I was expecting Ryan and Marissa to be together ect...But the new characters are good as well.Taylor is very unique lets put it that way..She's so cute and i see her with Ryan.What do you think of the neww guy claiming to be Ryan's father he looks trouble.

I was happy actually. She brought the show down and her character was going no where, also she was pulling Ryan down with her. I'm happy that now Ryan's character gets to evolve and move on! This new storyline with Taylor (and Taylor being a main character) has improved the show immensely. I love the tone Taylor brings to the show and couldn't be happier that Marissa's character is gone.

Thanks for posting i respect your opinoun.I do like Taylor character as well.She is original and has many flaws which brings out a new character to the show.I do miss Marissa Copper there were some godo story lines with her character.

I love the OC and like u i thought it would go down hill but it has been interesting and i will watch until the last surprise.

I couldn't believe they killed her off either :o( I wanted her to end up with Ryan too but nooooo, they have to switch things around! I'm getting used to Ryan being with Taylor but it's not the same. I'm always hoping that Marissa will come back to Ryan out of the blue but I know that's never going to happen.

Maybe it will teach Mischa a lesson. But its true.. the show has definatley declined since.

i think it's better for her since she wanted out.. maybe so she can explore more of her acting skills..
