Do you download songs from Internet ? Do you think its safe 2 do it @ internet ?

I use to download lots of songs from internet. I dont go for any paid sites rather i got sites where i can get them or free. But recently one of my friends told me that downloading from these kind sites may harm Your computer ...

I DONT THINK SO BECAUSE I MYSELF DOWNLOAD SONGS FROM MANY FREE SITES AND MY COMPUTER IS WORKING PERFECTLY OK.THERE MAY BE MANY SITES THAT HAS MANY TYPES OF MALWARE AND SPYWARE AND ADWARE BUT THERE ARE MANY WHICH DONT HAVE ANY OF THESE,U SHOULD GO WITH SUCH TYPES OF SITES.
