My daughter, who is a month old now, has had sever colic and digestive problems since birth. She cries almost constantly, and both my wife and me are close to a breakdown due to stress and lack of sleep.
Does anybody here have any recommendations how to help our baby recover and sleep better? We have already taken her to a couple of doctors, but nothing has helped, yet.

Hi there I have been through that myself. Has she seen a doctor? Can they suggest anything. I have herd of two herbal wind drops but don't know if the are for that young. One was made by blackmores the other is called gripe water. Do you have a good family or friend who can take over for an hour or so? I know putting bubby accross my lap on her belly helped some and rubbing the belly clock wise also helped.

Yes, she has seen a couple of doctors. I do have some family that can take over occasionally, but unfortunately I cannot expect them to do so at two in the morning.
Anyway, thanks for your input, I will look into the remedies you mentioned.

My daughter had colic though it was not as serious as yours. She'd stop crying when I held her in an upright position, i.e. supporting her neck and bottom against my chest. The paediatrician recommended soy milk to replace cow milk for indigestion. Good luck.
