So I find the new rules quite interesting. And yet, no one seems to follow them. And what I got from the new posting, is that we are allowed to report bad posts? Is that what you all got? I think its about time, that us serious one on here do something. Like report the pointless, terrible posts. Or give negative ratings. What do you all think? What are you thoughts or ideas on how to get rid of the rediculous posts? And one last question, do you think that people that break the rules should be immediately banned, or given a warning?

well, if you feel that the discussion doesnt make sense at all, of course it's allright to report to myLot..there was one time that i saw one discussion with '0000000000000' on both the title and contents...needless to say, i immediately report that discussion to mylot. and i also report those oneliners responses in my discussions. but then, to be fair, i think members should be given at least 3 warnings before being banned.

i agree, they should be given at least one warning, to change their ways. and im glad their are others reporting them.

I haven't actually looked over the new rules yet, but from what you've said I'm already gonna back that up 100%. I've only been on MyLot for three days, and I've already come across some seriously strange topics, like "what did you eat for breakfast?" and "guess what socks I'm wearing".
If I wanted to talk about that stuff, I'd call my Nan.
These new rules sound very appealing. There should be a three-step warning system. With three negative votes on a comment or discussion, then they're banned for either a set time (a week/day/month) or credit is taken back, or they've just gone forever, and their earnings forfeited.
I've seen many a post with "yes." on, and even "Nah."
This one post even said "I have nothing to say on this topic." Well, *why the crap did you type that then?!*
Stupid people mad my head hurt :P

I simply ignore the lame posts...unless it's a friend then I'll be like "um, care to elaborate on that?"
Now, if someone is leaving crappy replies, i'll report that or popping URLs in where they don't belong.
Normally if there's a stupid post, I don't waste my time on it.
