Over the years some people thinks they are short.. like around 150 while other "normal" people are around 170+. People started to find out the theory to this.. Does playing sports help you get taller? Does eating a lot filled with calcium helps you as well? Or is it there is no control over our height? (Based on genes). What do you guys think?

To some extent we can control our height.Between the ages of 3 and up untill adolescence we grow about 5cm each year.We usually stop growing at a certain age with men it is 25 and women being 21.But we can become taller if we do certain exercises and physical activities plus eat the right diet.We can also buy products that stimulate the growth hormone but these can have side effects on other parts of the body so I would not reccomend them. The reason I know some of this information is that I wanted to be taller when I was in the army and looked into into it and I had a friend that wanted to be a body builder and took suppliments but he had to go to the doctor with some side effects because of taking them.Seeing that I left well alone and carried on excercising.
