It knows no age limit. Also it is baseless that it happens due to tension. It is bcoz of 110 reasons that U may suffer from BP.
I have seen that children uner age of 6 yrs. also suffer from BP.
BP gives rise to cardiac problems .Problems of sugar.
Remedies to prevent suffering from BP are
1)DO not take much tension in life
2)Don't eat much of fried things.
3)Meditate

Could you please define what you mean by "BP"? I use that term to refer to BiPolar Disorder. Plus regardless of what the BP stands for..Going to see a doctor is not the last resort, it is the first line of action for any ailment, if you put that off as a last resort, you may not live long enough enough to exercise that option. Consulting a doctor is always the wisest first choice any one can make.

Also known as hypertension, commonly referred to as "high blood pressure", is a medical condition where the blood pressure is chronically elevated. Doctors recommend weight loss and regular exercise as the first steps in treating mild to moderate hypertension. Dietary sodium (salt) may worsen hypertension in some people and reducing salt intake decreases blood pressure in a third of people. Discontinuing smoking does not directly reduce blood pressure, but is very important for people with hypertension because it reduces the risk of many dangerous outcomes of hypertension, such as stroke and heart attack.

Blood pressure is called a silent killer and kills many people every year.the best way to get rid of high bp is through yoga and meditation,as rightly told by you.but, one more effective way is through pranayam activities.this is one type of yoga and consists of some simple breatrhing exercises. If these breathing exercises are done regularly everyday for 15 minutes.high bp is surely cured.i am myself teaching this pranayam and Yoga techniques and Ihave been successful in many cases.i would suggest you to please go through my articles on website www.associatedcontent.com under health section. This would surely help.

There are so many causes of hypertension, which is the medical word for high blood pressure or hypotension (which is low blood pressue). Abnormal sugar level (hpyoglycemia or hyperglycemia is another issue).
Sugar levels will affect how a person is feeling. If someone is unusually groggy after physical activity it's time to suspect hypoglycemia. If someone is getting mobility problems (with no physical disability causing it), muscle pain, excessive cramping or moodiness unexplained by an psychiatric condition it's time to suspect hyperglycemia. Either of these should immediately be addressed by a doctor FIRST.
Blood pressure is a silent problem at times so the only way to properly diagnose it is by vistting a doctor regularly and having the doctor test blood pressure.
A revised blood pressure control list:
1. See the doctor (first, not last as it may then be too late)
2. Fatty food (life fried stuff) is best kept to a minimum but
it is not the sole culprit.
3. Some foods thin the blood (like garlic) and help lower blood pressure.
4. Avoid salt. Salt is a mjor blood pressure increaser.
5. If you have a high stress lifestyle or job meditation or relaxation
exercises can help.
6. If the doctor prescribes blood pressure medication (and/or blood thinner)
use exactly as prescribed.

Thanks for posting this. I really believe their is a relationship between stress and health. I can feel it when I am in high stress mode at work. I try to do the things you mention and meditation is crucial. Unfortunately, I sometimes lose sight of how important diet and lifestyle can be.

Mental health is more important than the physical. What I have always beleived is that our mind controls our body. Therefore healthy mind gives body a healthy glow. Our diet as well as our lifestyle should be moderate to maintain mind-body equilibrium.
