In my prime, I did 60 without feeling pain. Any knew activity, you should do 10, see that number? 10 the first time, then build up to the number you want to do. 60 kept my midsection just fine. So 10 this week, 12 to 15 the following week, etc. Take care

I can do 100 plus sit ups easily. There are a few tips for being able to do so. Ofcourse regular practise is reqired along with it. The tips are:
1. If one is having a hard time keeping the balls of the feet or heels on the ground, ask a partner to hold them down or stabilize them oneself, by sticking your feet under the couch for example.
2. Moderation is the key to any abdominal exercise since the abs are literally the center of the body. If you think about it, in everything you do in daily life (walk, run, sit, stand, reach up for something, etc.) you have movement at or through your abs. With that in mind, be aware that if you overdo the sit-ups (or any ab exercise) you run the risk of ruining your next day with pain in the abs. If you are a beginner, start out slow and gradually do more.
Don't expect to become Rocky by tomorrow morning. lol!
