A friend you can trust is a priceless treasure.If you have a trustworthy friend, consider yourself wealthy, and never take the friendship for granted.
What is a real friend or good friend??? A genuine friend is not afraid to be honest with you. He'll be kind,but won't dish out flattery in order to hold on to the friendship.In turn, a real friend will listen to truth,spoken in love and accept constructive criticism, even when it hurts. A true friend will be reliable. She'll not stab you in the back or spread gossip about you. The sign of an authentic friend is that she puts your interests ahead of her own. She doesn't act out of selfish motives but out of genuine concern for your well-being. Wouldn't it be great to have a friend like that? Wouldn't it be great to be a friend like that???
In all of your frienships,strive to treat the other person the way you'd like to be treated. Be the best friend you can be, and let God worry about what you'll get in return for your kindness.

a good friend is someone with whom you can be yourself without any pretentions..someone who you are sure you can believe in to be there for you ....someone who knows you inside out...someone who knows when you are sad even though you are smiling outside..anyone whoz found that friend is lucky

Im kinda a very friendly person i guess...so maybe thats why i have got many friens...and as you said best friends..whom i can confide everythng with say there are 4 of them

A good friend is a person who will never ever judge you. Who will listen to you and encourage you. Who will just be there for you when you are in trouble. Even though you will never tell him, he'll understand you. Who will make you understand how important you are and value you for who you are. It is very rare that you find this type of friend. But to have a good friend, I personally think you should start being a goor friend yourself.
