I believe that copyright law needs a serious rethink, as it has completely failed to keep pace with a changing world.
I think that shorter copyright terms, as well as changes in which rights are automatically controlled, would make the world a safer place and encourage innovation.
Another change, which I would love to see is a change so that copyright can only be owned by individuals, rather than companies.
