Lack of quality discussion

Recently I have noticed that the quality of discussion is coming down. New discussions are all about what you think of something, or whether you have done something and so on and so forth.
Is everyone running out of ideas to post quality discussions? Yesterday all I made was 3 cents, because I couldnt find anything worthwhile to post.
For those of you who are posting on each and every discussion you see, I have only one thing to say. Read the latest alert from mylot. Because you might show a lot of posts, but one time or another mylot might delete some of those posts, so you will lose your money.
But to those of you who are interested in having quality discussions, add me as friend. I would love to participate in quality discussions.

The shear volume of discussions may be part of the problem. Even if 50% of the posts are of quality (and I seriously doubt if it is that high, but just for argument) then it is difficult to muddle through and find things that are of interest to reply to. I only want to respond to those discussions that interest me so, even with a lot of quality posts, it may still take me ten or fifteen minutes to find something worthwhile to say.

check for quality discussions your friends have started and check for responses they have made on other discussions... that is the best way to find quality discussions.

I am only on day five and today alone i counted too many what is http how many shoes your favourite this or that. I was hoping to find and contribute to well meaning things. I noticed today too man one two or three words reapeted time and time again by members with higher ratings. I hope it improves.

Welcome to the club... been seeing that a lot, and sometimes when i see those posts getting a lot of response, i dont feel like going through the rest. why bother if most of them are like that?

well i think this is the delima of pay per post forums you get a lot of people who want to earn more in doing so they do dishonsety with the topics and start plenty of substandard topics some also copy paste advices .which has resulted in decrease of payment per post of all the forum members

I agree with you. I spend more time looking for quality post to respond to then I do responding. It's crazy how many of the same discussions are posted just worded different. Do these people think they're fooling anybody? I for one hope that more quality discussions are posted

I completely agree with you. I have been a member of mylot for 4 months now, but have yet to even make $1.50 because I very seldomly find something worth contributing to. I start discussions because I really want to get people's ideas or opinions on something and then no one will respond to it. It is very frustrating.

i got to repeat what i said earlier, you got to make friends who share similar topics.. also list out your interests... that will help mylot in bringing discussions of your interests to you

there are quality discussions, but you got to search deep...prob is we dont know what we are looking for. if we have friends who post quality discussions then it would be easy to find quality discussions... just look in discussion my friends have started

You are correct about there being a lack of quality discussions . Some of that is due to the fact that many or most possible good discussions have already been started and it is more difficult now to come up with something different and of our own. I try hard to make good discussions though find it hard myself.

you can always add data to old discussions.. there is no rule saying that old discussions should not be replied to.

Part of the problem is that at LEAST 5 times a day someone posts complaining about "Lack of quality discussions"

Thats a good thought. I haven't really experience the same thing. I usually find good quality posts by looking throught th menu to different topics. If you feel like you can't find a good topic to write about try to start your own good quality discussion. I usually try to do that. But no one seem to respond to them.

As I just started checking this website out last night, I made my first post concerning Nursing Home's. I tried thinking of something else to post about (normally I am not a "non-verbal" woman), however I didn't find anything that interested me much. Other than the fact I am trying to work my way through this site.
I like to talk about Health Care (or the lack there of) in Illinois, kids, being an ear to (what seems to be the world)family and friends, family, working on cars, playin pool (not that I am very good, but hey) and fishing...and a few other things I just had pop into my head that I will make a discussion about but don't want someone to take my idea so I will go work on that for a bit now, before I fold the laundry that my hubby threw on the floor because it was in his way.....lol which brings me to another post....hmm Idea's are rolling now.
Till next time....

i am not sure if i got this correctly. i agree that its your wish what type of discussions that you want to have and the topics you want to reply to you. i am not asking anyone to stop posting silly discussions. i am only trying to bring together people who are interested in quality discussions.
but one more thing... if mylot starts deleting some of the discussions, dont say no one warned you... i am not gonna do that, but there are plenty of discussions which says that many discussions are being deleted

i have joined this site not long ago, at first i was kinda excited becausei do love changing ideas and hearing new things from different people much better from different places but after a week i'm beginning to lose interest because it seems that most member are only after the points that they would get.
I'm really glad to hear that some are actually into having good discussion.

you dont have to worry about that, there would always be people who want to do things the right way, only problem is finding them.

I've only been a 'MyLotter' for a few days but I can already see there are basically two kinds of member ... those who just post for the sake of posting to earn more rewards .. and those who genuinely want to start good discussions ...
I hope I shall be a member of the second category ..

This is my second reply, and I have to agree with you. I didn't sign up for crappy conversations, etc. I'm looking for real conversations with real people that are looking for friendship. I can't see making money off of posts if I can't actually enjoy the companionship of those with whom I'm speaking.
I'll add you as a friend, please add me as well.
