Do you agree that Gambling, Cheating are the work of lazy people?

i think it would take a smart and a not lazy person to cheat someone

Gambling and cheating are two very different things and they should be put together when asking if people that do them are lazy. People who gamble are not lazy, they just like to make a little money the easy way. It can be done if you are smart enough to know what you are doing. It has nthing to do with being lazy. Infact earning a living by gambling can be harder work then other things. People who cheat may or may not be lazy. They do have lower morals though. There is a difference.

When I was young, several business men in my town met every Friday night at different hotels to have their weekly poker games sometimes playing all night. They met in secret because gambling is illegal here. One of the men was so addicted to gambling that he put up one of the hotels he owned as a bet and lost it. He was not lazy, in fact he was a very hard working man. But when Friday night arrived, he was a different person. Gambling is an addiction. The driving feeling of getting something big by spending a little amount, the risk of losing, and the high of winning. Those people can't stop. But, I have thought alot about your discussion. I wasn't old enough at the time to place this man's loss as anything but silliness. Now I wonder if this man cheated in all his dealings, which is also a gamble that he will outsmart another. Every day life is a gamble. Will we walk out of homes and trip causing disruption in our normal routines? My conclusion is, gambling isn't always the work of lazy people, but is the work of a very selfish, self centered person who doesn't put anything first in their lives, such as family and responsibilities. They are their own worst enemy and their activities will cause stress and lead to the destruction of those they love. Gambling is wrong when it becomes more important than responsibilities of an individual. They need to get help.

I feel that you are right on the point with this statement. I have seen in the last few years that lazy people, who don't want to work seem to cheat their way to the top. And gamble in order to get what they want.

Well i Do Agree With u. As i Have Some Reltives That do Gamble and Cheat. They Even Ask me my Parents for Some Money. Which makes me Feel Sicks and Twisted. And My Parents are Quite Simple as They Like To Help Their Relatives.

Hi I am a recovering gambling addict. I use to gamble alot especially at the casinos. I gambled as a form of recreation from my hectic stressful hardworking days. So I don't think all gamblers are lazy nor cheats. I became addicted because I always kept winning big before the inevitable bigger losses. I lost big in every way posible and will never return to that lifestyle. Now I prefer to give my opinions on sites like mylot and take the gamble that I will be remunerated for my efforts. Definitely no. Lazy people will be very angry with you. I think those are done by "bad" people. Lazy people are not bad. They are just lazy, that's all.

I would agree that cheating is definately the work of a lazy person, but not necessarily gambling. Some people gamble just to have a bit of fun...if they hit the jackpot than it's an obvious bonus for them. People with the intention of gambling just so they could live off of the winnings could be considered lazy, but not the people who do it for fun.

I don't agree, it is a highly unlikely case, but suppose that someone can make a living out of it? A real living, not the little I make every week (I gamble one or two hours a day in some online casinos). If someone has luck enough or is good enough to do so, why not?

Gambling happens when people start getting greety about money. They want more, but instead they keep on losing more. Cheating for people that do not appreciate their wives or husbands and girlfriends or boyfriends.

Yes you are right! Its what most lazy people do. They want things on fast track. They dont mind 'coz for them what they are doing is right.

Absolutely I believe that! It even says in the Bible that money made quickly is fool's money and will not last. People that gamble or cheat are trying to make a quick buck thinking they'll get rich, but instead they buy themselves unhappiness and poverty.

These are the ways for people to earn money fast and at the same time trying out their luck as well. I like to gamble too, but most of the time it will be gamble for fun with my family members during Chinese New Year. It is not the work of lazy people, but it is a work of people with brilliant mind with the wrong concept in their lives. To plan a way to cheat people, they definitely will need a 100% good plan to do that, and this also apply for kidnapping and robbing too. It is just that they don't want to waste so times and energy to earn money and all they want is quick money, not that they are lazy

Hell Yeah...Sometimes they definitely take gambling for granted, because once they think its easy to earn by gambling, they will lose interest in hard work.. of course they wont realize until they lose a lot of money and then find working hard worth than gambling..

I think in Bangalore city, I watch at old, dilapiated buildings, the lazy people engage in gambling, number games, horse betting etc. during working hours, because they do not work.

nope,i think gambling is for people for willing to make large money in less time.i don't like gambling and i never played it..am againts its.no matters what we earn, someother day we loose it anyhow.i believe cheating is part of game and the smart enough people can do it not the lazy bone.
