Skin Cancer on the rise in young adults,Please read

I just read a article where I discovered skin cancer was on the rise in yound adults.More and more people under 40 are getting nonmelanoma skin cancer.This is very scary because this type of cancer usually occurs in people over 50 years old.Are we aging ourselves because we do not protect our skin.What are your thoughts?
