Nikon D40

i don't have one but based on my friends' shots... with a 18-55mm kit lens it works wonders. shots are so professional that you can't believe that it's so cheap. images are so sharp it can be compared to its high end siblings. though some older af lenses do not autofocus on the d40 you can really explore the true essence of photography because you'll get to try to manual focus with your older af lenses. i wish i could have one soon because nikon is going to stop producing them anytime now.

I've been looking into that one lately. It looks pretty nice. Not too expensive and a lot of features for the price. I'm considering that one just because I could afford it and then maybe later others will drop in price by the time I really would need something else. As of right now, that one should actually suit my needs.
