It never fails everytime I go to the store I always end up forgetting something, even if I make a list. I was wondering if anyone had any ways that help you remember everything you need from your shopping trip?

One thing I have been noticing more and more when grocery shopping is that some of my items ring up incorrectly. I have started shopping with my mother. One of us puts the food on the belt and the other person stands and watches it ring up to make sure the right price is rung up.

Do you know that Walmart will pay you up to $3 off a product if it rings up wrong? It doesn't count on clearance items. If you just point out the error, they will only adjust it to the listed price. You have to actually say you want your three dollars off. I beleive they use the #1 key to enter the change. I always tell them,"Please use the # 1 key for the price change", and they do.

arrange your shopping list the way the store is laid out. Make your list follow the shopping isles.

I keep a master list in my kitchen cupboard. When I'm low on an ingredient, I write it on the left side of the paper. On the right side, I list the paper goods or misc. items I need such as dish liquid, etc. My kids know where to find the list so they can jot down anything they use the last of. I've threatened their lives so they don't add things like ice cream and candy LOL!
