does having lots of money make you happy?

my partner thinks we are better off for not having a lot of money, me on the otherhand would like to be able to spend spend spend.

No i dont think being rich can make u happy, I think u need that special someone in your life. money is not the key to happieness

No having lots of money has very little effect on your emotional state, Spending lots of money and giving it to those who need it feels good. Having time to do the things you want and be with the people you like is what makes me happy.

I wouldn`t like to be rich because it seems like money can change people when you have a lot. But it sure would be nice to have just that perfect amount of money all the time! You know what I mean?
