Hi,
I would like to share my experience. Last month I was just vigrously looking for on-line earnings, I happened to visit a site called "suppliersonline.com" where the advertisement was earn more and join for free. "With todays offcer only $1.95".
Since the joing fee was very less, I become a member and I found the transaction appeared on my credit card statement.
The payment transaction was very simple, only credit card number, no-verification of cvv number.
I left it since the money value for very very less. In the same month I have seen another transaction from the same site for $19.95, I was really shocked when I saw transaction. I immediately reported to Credit Card company and raised a dispute against the transaction, but they could not help. Only thing I was able to do is to block the card.
Hence I request all mylot friends to be very careful when doing online transaction with your credit cards.
Thanks and share your thoughts.

My god, how did you manage, I think you might have gone mad for atleast one week. Please share the list of SCAM sites so that it will very useful for all our mylot community members who are eagerly looking for on-line earnings.
Did you loose from your credit or you have earned a lot and not received. How did it happen.
What I have lost is direct from my credit card, for which I have paid after 1 month.
If you r in India it is almost INR 27,000. It is huge money. Have u taken any action for this loss.
If u see my case, I have lost around $49.95 ( INR 2248 )which I can manage and we need mind bcoz it is very less.
In future please take care and if you find any site which gives u money just like that without of much of effort then post the name of the site in mylot and you will surely get lot of ideas from our mylot friends.
Please take care in the feature.
Thanks for posting. Bye for now.

Nothing, I am just joining free programs. If it involves money I'm skeptical about that site.
Do you celebrate Christmas? If yes, I will take this opportunity to greet you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (though is not yet Dec. 25, I may not have a chance to greet you anymore so I will do it now).

Yes, agreed, but nowadays we are not able to indentify which is genuine site. In credit card they provide us with cvv number, which has to be verified for any transaction, but I don't know how the transaction is happening without cvv number.
Only we have to be careful.
Thanks for your post.

Sorry for the delayed response.
We are very careful when handling such sites, but how do we know it is secured. For secured credit card transcation the only option is the cvv number, but most of sites give the cvv number in the same screen where we enter the credit card number , some of the sites have the option to update the cvv number in the next screen, in such sites it is highly risky.
My query is if the cvv number is the security then why our CC company is accounting the transaction without a cvv number.
In my case I asked the my cc company, but they were not able to answer my query, atlast what I have lost is for me, not for anybody else.
Let us be very very careful.

First, you always have to be cautious when dealing with anything that says you can earn easy on the internet. Most programs are just scams to get your money.
Secondly, if you do want to venture into this type of program, go buy a gift card Visa. They can be used as a Visa credit card would be used but there is only a certain amount on them. This way, there is a set amount that anyone could scam you out of.

The visa gift cards are a good idea and a lot safer than using your regular card card number. Most Credit card companies, and banks also offer virtual credit cards for free. They are set up for one time use. So even if the company try's to charge you again at a later date, or if your card number is sold or stolen it will no longer be valid so there is no loss to you.

I don't have a similar experience, but I've lost about 16 euros one time and 12 euros another, through paypal payments (never got the merchandise or a refund).
But I lose the most through the customs taxes they charge me when I order stuff from outside the EU. I end up paying like half of the price of the goods in taxes, thanks to the 21% charge and all the little bureaucratic fees. And that's only when they don't do the currency conversion wrong and end up charging me up to 3 times the actual fee! This country's full off officialized pimps! :(

I dont think there is credibility on Online Transaction, as we can only trust brands like Amazon, ebay.
But i have lost around $250 for purchasing HP I paq from a non branded site.
