Does it still work out? Would you still keep an ocean apart relationship? I hardly believe that a relationship will grow if two people are not spending time together. How would they know more about each other since everyhting changes. You think so?

it can last if it is what both parties want. the key to making it last are letters, phone calls, organising weekends away together where possible...and suprise visits. send little gifts that have significant meaning to each other....in all honesty you are limited by your imagination. most of all if it is meant to work then you will find a way to make it happen otherwise as they say what will be will be

Maybe if they are already married, then they have no choice and really have to work it out.ü Actually I really need that! Thanks a lot!

i am in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend in sweden for 8 months now. we started out as friends. we got to know each other for the first four months before deciding to give the relationship a chance. now, we're happily inlove. he visited me and my family here in the philippines last month and we had two nice weeks together. he's in sweden now. but we communicate everyday through chatting. he calls me,too and sends me letters through regular postal system. we just have to trust each other and respect each other. and it's all working well.

Good for you! I have a friend who is in the U.S. now,[used all of the communications mediums ;)] they were so much in love and they were together for 9 years(I witnessed their ups and downs ü), they were even childhood friends. On her 2nd yr abroad, they broke up. Reason, TIME, QUALITY and QUANTITY. So on your case, work it out girl!
