Atheletes salary

What do you guys think about an athlete salaryin a professional sport? Do you guys think it excessive? My opinion is this, too me it way to much for and got ridiculous with the amount of a franchise owner paying its player. The players now adays are not playing the sport because of passion, they are playing for how much money they could rake in. Too me its ridiculous but at the same time i ddont see it as wrong. If the owneris is willingly paying that amount then we dont have nothing to complain about. If it was you you will be doing the same thing. i know i wont turn down millions if i could play the sport good enough like them. any thoughts?

Thats true i would probably not turn it down.. but in my opinion i don't think they are playing for the sport anymore.. i think its more for the money.. I think thats why football is not as good as it use to be.. The players are not as good as they are anymore.. Like the old teams.. I use to like the old raiders.. they were good.. rough and tough..
Now its all about the money..

Well i think in today's world the players are paid wayyyy too much. they dont play for the game of it, they play for how much they can get. Thats why they are taking steroids so they can play better to make those stats and get even more money the next year. they take away the meaning of the sport and make it hard for those who truly want to play, unable to. they need to put down stricter and tighter rules.+
