I'm so bad lol - Christmas gifts

I do the same thing and it drives my hubby crazy. I will go out to get the "one last present needed" and see somthing on sale one of the kids would love. When I get home I say "crap. Now she is getting more than the other 2 kids." So then I need to go shopping again for one more present for each remaining child. But I see something on sale....it never ends. LOL The funny part is I am going to make my husband wrap all of these things.

It is okay that you forgot a few people as I think we are all still shopping a little bit. I thought I was done this past weekend but now I realize that I still have more shopping to do. LOL So, do not feel bad at all. I just gave my coworkers their cards and gifts. I just bought someone this evening. :-) Merry Christmas to you and your family. I've done that with stocking stuffers! LoL We have the rule of giving each person one gift each. BUT....anything small or considered a stocking stuffer is not limited. LOL So beyond the candy and cakes they get in their stockings, they get little toys, bubble bath, bath sitz balls, coloring books, hot wheels, nd much more. It is little stuff...okay, some of it doesn't fit because their stockings just aren't that big. LOL So the stuff is placed under a stocking. But I do exactly what you say. I see something else or think og something else and even though I have bought stocking stuffers, I end up getting just a few more things. But then I have to try to figure out if someone received more than another. It is a vicious cicle! LOL

I do this all the time. I always say I'm done but buy more. Especially this year. I kept buying and buying for my nephew (due in a few months!). Everytime I'm "done" I see something else for him. I'm only buying things that I'm getting a great deal on though.

lol i do this also! all the time still buying presents, go to the shops for something specific and see ten things i have to buy for christmas, but i really enjoy buying and choosing presents for people for some reason so i dont mind at all!

I don't usually do this, but my husband does it all the time. Yesterday, he went to the store to purchase a gift for the two younger ones from his mother(she is sick and can't go shopping) and he came out of the store $200 poorer. He says he is done now, but I know he's not! lol

Once I've got everyone's presents sorted, I don't end up buying any more unless I relise I've forgot to buy something for someone. I think part of the reason I don't end up buying more presents is because I'm normally skint once all the christmas presents have been bought, wrapped up and out the way.

yes i do that. but for family members only. but i buy alot for myself. and spend alot of money for myself hehe.

I sometimes wonder if people are celebrating the birth of baby Jesus or the birth of baby Santa Claus. I have a 2yo grandson, on HIS birthday last month I bought him a 12v John Deere tractor by Peg Perego. For christmas I made him a few articles of clothing (it's what I do for a living) and bought him a couple of books. For everyone else, My wife and me spent a week baking cookies, pear and cranberry breads. For my wife I will as soon as I finish typing this, make a skirt and topcoat. On Christmas day we will visit family, give our love and be thankful that we didn't fall into the commercial trap that Christmas has become.

After two complete days of shopping, I'm still not done. I can never say I'm done with shopping until new year is a few weeks past, because there's always someone you have forgotten and then you need to buy something else for that person... Christmas is really the greatest excuse ever invented to go shopping! lol

I so do this. It's crazy how much I buy for my kids. I start in Oct. and say I'm done and then keep "seeing" things that they have to have. I actually am at the point now where I showed my husband my list and he checked off things for me to return before Christmas.

Oh gosh, I do this too! I was done 3 weeks ago, then yesterday I decided that I didn't have enough stuff for my kids and ordered them something else. I was wrapping last night and discovered that I have one extra thing for my grandaughter so had to order my grandson an extra gift, then remembered the extra was for my grandson, so now it's all out of whack on his side by two, so now I've got to go shopping for two gifts for my grandaughter today!!! LOL. Then I'll be done, I really will.

Yes I do lol as you will always find that you have forgot someone or see something and you buy it as well as all the other things you have bought

haha yah i always do that. i always feel like what i get people isnt enough, so when i go out to do errands, i always see lil things that i want to get them..and i usually do get them! i did this yesterday but i swear im almost done now..just gotta buy some picture frames!

This year .. like last year .. and the year before that ... I haven't had to buy any gifts ... :o) But sadly that means I haven't anyone to buy them for .. rather than I just haven't bought anyone anything ... :o( And in case you are wondering I don't receive gifts either :o( I am a 'Christmas Free' zone Ho!! Ho!! Ho!!

The time has come again to exchange gifts with each other. Buying them and then exchanging them with your loved ones is so much exciting and fun. I cant wait for Christmas day to come as i have gifts piled on to give to loved ones.
