Not your grandmas old kind! They have changed SO much over the years, My sons little bum stays dry, and he has luxurious fabrics like velour against him all day, how cool is that! Theres so many cool fabrics used, like hemp, which we have a lot of, hemp diapers, and absorbant parts for other diapers, and bamboo which is incredibly soft, and lots of different types of cotton, even organic cotton and organic other fabrics and blends! They really have come a long way, if you have a baby in diapers, you really should try the new ones! go to www.diaperswappers.com and see what I mean, its a great group of mostly woen who can tell ya just about anything you want to know about them, and help you with trying one out- but watch out, the addiction is hard and heavy! :giggle:
If youve tried the newr ones (besides pins and plastic or rubber covers) then let me know what you thought! Have you tried fitteds, or all in ones?
If not, wy not give it a try? You may end up very pleasantly surprised!

I haven't used cloth nappies before. I never really considered it an option. Given the fact that I struggle to complete what I have to get done every day it's probably a good thing. Just another thing to clean.
Maybe I will give it a try, you seem quite impressed...

We're in the process of switching to cloth. I just bought the bumgenius one-size pocket diaper. We're going to buy a lot more but we have to get paid first. But it's one more than we had before haha. I'm excited. I love everything about cloth. The more I read how bad disposables are for my baby, the more I try to convert all my mommy friends with me haha.

When my son was born almost 5 years ago, the cloth nappies were still just the piece of material folded up and used pins to do them up on the baby, so no i never used them because disposables were much cheaper upfront then the cloth nappies and well they leaked you would need the plastics over the top and they still leaked! But i have seen some of the new cloth diapers they have now and some of them look fantastic and are great to use but still the upfront costs is so much!

I cloth diaper. I actually prefer the old fashioned prefolds. They are pretty easy to lay in a cover or to use a snappi fastner and then a wool cover. Wool is virtually leak proof! So easy to make your own as well. :)

I love the Berry Plush all in ones. Sure they are a tad more pricey but they work!
