few days back somebody told me that in few hotels in india you have to enter your keys in keyhole to get electricity in the room..well this is very nice idea..so anytime you leave the room there won't be any wastage of electricity doesn't matter you forget to switch off the nodes or not..so until unless there is no key in the keywhole circuit is not completed and there won't be any electricity...am quite impressed by this nice and simple but effective idea...what you guys say???

I've seen this being used in a hotel in the UK as well. It's a great idea - I'm afraid that I've been guilty on several occasions of leaving my hotel room to go out for the evening and accidentally leaving the lights on, thus wasting power. It's a very good and really simple idea - like all the best ideas are!

ya i think so this is very nice idea but it's not easy , naughty people like me visit your room in night insert the master key in your door make the lights on and run away while that time you must be sleeping . after one month just checkout your bill then . hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Very good idea. In the netherlands there is a company, which makes little things for in the watersupplies so you use 40% less water, including hot water. It's good to have this sort of idea's.
