My Terrifying Dream

Alright, this was about two years ago. I was sleeping in my room, feeling very relaxed, when I suddenly felt freezing cold. Somehow, I got trapped in my dream, like I knew I was dreaming but couldn't wake up. Then, I felt hands wrap around my neck. I struggled, clawing at the hands, trying to get away, couldn't scream, couldn't wake up, but I finally managed to call out 'Help'. When I woke up, I found my hands had been clawing at my neck in real life, leaving welts across my skin. The next day, there were faint bruises around my throat, like someone had really tried to strangle me. Anybody have a similar experience? What could this mean?

I've been stuck in a dream before like that. It's terrifying to say the least. I know I'm dreaming, and tell myself to wake up, and in my dream I do wake up, but im still in the dream. I've had this kind of dream a lot, but mine doesnt usually involve being physically harmed. Sometimes in the dream I do sense something scary, and that something isnt right.I cant scream, and a lot of times I cant even get out of the bed, but in my dream I'm not being restrained physically but somehow by some kind of force, that keeps me from being able to move. It's weird, and scary. Have you ever had the dream inside a dream, you wake up in your dream only to realize your still in the dream? Because of my dreams sometimes I go without sleep for as long as possible.

Yeah, I've had those too. Mine are like a loop. Same events, same people, and I can't seem to get out of the dream until someone wakes me up. Most of the time, I can talk or whatever. Only once was I not able to scream, and that was absolutely horrific.

Yep, I have those on occasion. This one was just so... real, I guess. I haven't had any like it since, thank god.
