In some of my discussions a post will say "This post contains content of mature nature" etc. etc. Then it says "You must first change your preferences to allow mature content" What does this mean and how do I change it? This old girl can be a bit slow at times......or maybe all the time! lol

I think you do it in your profile preferences.
I had mine like that before, and needed to change it.

Mature content indeed, hahaha, I tried to put the name of a cheese into a discussion and got that message...the name was "noon cheese" but replace the "n" with a "c" and it wont let you post it..lol...I didn't even think of the hiden meaning until it was blocked!!haha.....and if you are entering a discussion on pets, don't try to discibe your cat as "fussy" only starting with "p"..rofl!!

The hidden meanings hey Eagle, they can be a bit of a trap even if you are not meaning anything by it! Thank-you for your response.

In the rules of posting if it has graffic langueage or things that are of a mature nature not every one wants this so you must go to your settings and activate this if you wish to view that type of content. Only those who activate it can see it. the rest of us get the message you refered to above.

Oh this is good .... but not sure why we have to specially set it up to allow mature content .... I would have thought that a person would have to be mature to be allowed here .... have been wrong once before .... this might be twice. The person who referred us helped us to set it up .... so guess we have mature content allowed.
Must find that sort of discussion somewhere .... you know the ones with mature content ..... just to test it out maybe ..... do want to talk to adults some times.

I think mylot is actually searching some words for filtering the mature content. First thing you do is avoid such words. Instead of that you can use some explanatory words or sentences. Otherwise you can use these words with some stars... :) or change the spelling.. like fcuk or f**k :D
