I've been wandering around MyLot only for a few days now and I've already come across many strange discussions, such as "what did you have for breakfast?" and "what did you call your dog?"
Personally, a discussion should be mentally engaging, and not something quick and easy so you can get a quick cent. I'm not really one to moan but I'm just annoyed that that's the kinda thing that's going on here.
What do you guys think? How would you rate a discussion, and to what extent would you consider something "pointless" to have brought up for the community? (such as, "guess what socks I've got on") And vice versa, could you give one example of something truly amazing to talk about? Homosexuality, perhaps? Human rights? The War on Iraq and the images brought across by stereotyping cultures and associating them with terrorism, stupidity, stubborn-ness, etc? Nothing life saving, but something that you've really got to think about to have a good old chin wag about, because I don't really want to come on here and start talking about what I found stuck to my foot in the morning, y'know? :D

I think we are all getting annoyed by the pointless discussions. Alot of people are only on here for money, and not interesting talk. They have just posted some new rules of what is right and wrong, and basically said to report those breaking the rules. I have started to do that, and I recommend the same if you want to see a change in the bad posts.
