why is a snowman allways smiling ?

can somone tell me why a snowman is always smiling in coloring books,
on a picture everywere stupide he.but do you no why there always smiling ?

becoz its not alive!!! it has no reason like we mortal do, to feel remorse or pain!! as far as it knows, its been created perfectly and its doing its duty as a snowman and nothing upsets in any way... y shudnt it be happy?
well now being serious, how many people would like a morose snowman in their house? i know i wudnt wanna... even if i wasnt feeling so happy, i wud make my snowman a happy face!! and mainly in christmas, its celebration time... hence a happy snowman...
