And it's not the turd one with bill pullman, the peter jackson one where it made me laugh so hard I dribbled in my golden y fronts.

I love braindead also, it's right up there as one of my all time faves, and I'm wondering now when peter jackson is going to get on with the sequel to bad taste(Roast of the day) that he would love to make, there's been talk and rumours of a sequel for ages.

I loved BrainDead! The gory scenes were fantastic! I thought it showed how creative Peter Jackson's imagination is. I especially loved the end with lawn mower. They must have used a ton of movie blood. :)

Anyone saying that Braindead is a bad movie obviously lacks knowledge in moviemaking and sense oh humour.

This is a CLASSIC!! ^_^ My fav part is the ENTIRE 3rd half -- the zombie invasion. Peter Jackson (or as I call him, PJ, because we're such good friends) has such a creative mind. And the effects as awesome. May I remind you of the shot where a woman screams and covers her face and a zombie punches her from behind the head -- right THROUGH her mouth!

Ahh yes classic!! I like the lawnmower cutting action at the end through all the zombies, but I also love some of the subtle comedy between lionel and his mam when she's falling apart (Ear falls in custard!!) Or what about the bloke who's head is put in a blender, oh there are just too many classic parts of this film that are worthy of them to be legend!! (or what about the gnome that is stuffed down the zombies bloody neck....We could go on forever!)

I think this movie is unique! There have been "splatter comedies" after Braindead, but not as well done as Braindead. Braindead has amazing comedy in it, as well as the whole love story, and finally all the crazy gore stuff, but it's done with so much humour. Most other films in the genre just have a lot of blood and gore in them without them really contributing to the picture. One of my top 10 favourite films!

yep I am trying to get my zombie effort off the ground, but it takes a considerable amount of funding and effort to try and get the ideas out there, but I tell you this...it is original as it's come from my own warped mind!!!

Brilliant movie, it was so funny and original. Peter jackson really proved his talent in that movie, and he went even further with the great "Heavenly Creatures", an excellent drama starring Kate Winslet. I like Braindead because its so inventive. It had a miserable budget but its such a good movie. Also the script is less stupid than you might think, characters are brilliant and the way the showed new zealand from the fithies was also very professionaly done. And ye..its so gross an funny as well. Great movie!

Braindead is one of my favorites and one I watch over and over again. Jackson did good on such a low budget. So funny, as other have said the lawnmower scene You just don't see that kind of thing in movies these days. We need more movies like this that take a bit of risk and most of the time they do pay off for all involved especially us fans.
