What are your favorite cebuano bands?
UrbanDub, of course, is an icon. Sheila and the Insects and Jr. Kilat are also building up a strong solid base on the national level.
However, there are several great bands in the area that (sadly) remain unrecognized.
Which ones do you know? Which ones have you seen perform? And which ones have you fallen in love with?

I have fallen in love with HASTANG the first time I heard their single "Random". It so defines the state that I and my friend, Genee, are in right now.

I so love Hastang. I've been waiting for their debut album for nearly a year now. I heard the band's recorded tracks (demos?) through friendster and myspace, and I just got hooked. I always take the time to see them live...and I have to say that their energy level on and off the stage is unbelievable.

I think Faspitch has plenty of potential. They got solid songwriting chops for their specific genre and they're scary when they play live--the emotion, the energy, the works.
