Live with you or old folks home

If your parents get old and cannot take care of them selves would you let them live with you or would you put them in a retirement home? On the one hand, I want my parents to live with me, but I am not sure I would be able to give them the care that they need. On the other hand, there are so many horror stories of elderly being mistreated, I think I would rather struggle to take care of them the best I could rather than give them over to people who see them as a dollar sign. Your opinion?

I will definitely not let my old parents live in the homes. They have taken care of me for so many years, when they get old, it's my turn to take care of them, no matter how difficult it may be. Remember, we have only them in our life time. We have to show good example to our kids as well. Filial is something very important.
