What do you think of the concept of 'arranged marriages'?

It is still arranaged marriages for the most in India.They have worked for centuries and they will work for centuries also.It is a time tested concept and it has withstood the test of time. OF course there may be some failures but that doesnt mean the concept is a fsilure. Failures are ther in every walk of life. But the percentage of failure is very less.

some cultures supports the concept of arrange marriages and some ppls too,but these should be not done as mostly arrange marriage r failing to be run in long distance as they completely dont know each other or may be dont loves each other... some r benefiting with it and some r not....

It is really hard to believe that some cultures are still doing this. I think marriage should be done out of love. Not by people setting you up with someone else. How can you ever be truly happy in an arranged marriage?

I think they are not for me..but some may benefit from them.
