Are you afraid of Loneliness?

I think we all need some time without being surrounded by people. I enjoy having some 'me' time and I encourage everone to take that time because it allows you to recharge your batteries before going back into the fray of daily life. When I take 'me' time I read a book and/or listen to good music that I like, as I don't have to consider anyone else for the brief time that is mine. LOL

Not quite. Because I am a loner. Sometimes I enjoy being with people but most of the time, I'm happy with my family and just being with them is just enough for me.

No, I don't need to be surrounded all the time. If that happened I think I would go crazy. Everyone needs time to their self, just to relax & recoup from the things going on around them. Alone time is a necessity. ~Remember to give out +'s when it's deserved & select best responses. It helps us all out ;-]

sometimes. But after sometime i wont feel lonely. so Loneliness also will teach more things to you.

ya.....i'm too much afraid of loneliness...infact i'm going through a bad patch of my life nowadays which has forced me to think myself lonely and created vacuum in my life...i know how much i'm suffering and so,i'm afraid where it'll turn up ultimately...

no i am not afraid of loneliness. its part of our life. and i dont need to be surrounded by people all the time. sometimes we need solitude time to think more clearly...

I like loneliness.

I would prefer both......because i think both are important ........u should give yourself some time.....live your dreams......

definitely not, i can still do stuff on my own that i like. allthough the occasional trip to the bar is a must :)

It depends - sometimes I like having lots of people around me but other times I like being on my own. I like my own space so don't want others around me all the time. There's a difference between being alone and lonely. I've had some of my loneliest moments when I was with someone I didn't want to be with.

I'm not afraid of loneliness, I actually prefer being alone sometimes. Get-togethers with friends are okay, but I think we all need some alone time now and again just to do what we want to do without any pressure.

i love having friends to get together with but sometimes i just want to rattle round the house alone,,,i even kick out my hubby to do it,,reading,having a bath,,just having a word with myself sometimes,,i dont mind my own company because my head is always full of something anyway,,,the voices,,ooh the voices,,lol,,(not really)

Usually I'm a very social creature but there are occasions when I need my own space, so I make it. Some years ago I went through a bad patch of misanthropy and became a recluse -- tricky for someone whose friends and acquaintances numbered in the hundreds -- but in that time I did a lot of contemplation and went to places in my mind where I just couldn't go with others around. I was glad of the opportunity to do this. Now I live in China and it's pretty difficult to get time on my own,-- people, people everywhere.

No I like loneliness, cause that is the time you get to spend with yourself and talk to you.

No I don't like to be surrounded by people all the time, I am no celebrity. But at the same time being lonely for a long time is also not as per my liking.
