Are you afraid of the dentist?

I am not at all afraid of the dentist cause I think they are only ones to ease and lessen our pain when our tooth really aches badly so I am not at all afraid.

I am not afraid of the dentist. I kind of enjoy the gas that they give you.lol The worst experience I've had was when my dentist was cutting a wisdom tooth out. He couldn't get it to stop bleeding and he had to call an orthodontist from across town to come over. I think the cutting is usually done by the orthodontist anyway and the dentist usually just does it if it can be pulled. Mine were too impacted (growing sideways) but the dentist thought he could do it. Really I didn't have much pain during this though.

I am afraid of the dentist too, I feel so sorry for you. I am 45 yrs. old and still have my wisdom teeth. I need dental work done too, but I am so scared about going. I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Good luck. I have had a bad experience with a dentist too.

I make sure the dentist has really numbed me up for anything he does. I had my wisdom teeth pulled many years ago and it didn't bother my while they were taken out but the after effect could be worse if you wait like I did to take a pain medication. I waited to long and didn't go straight home and lay down like the dentist said. I decided to go grocery shopping and run a few errands before going home. Bad idea. My face was so swollen by the time I got home the neighbor could see it from next door. Soft food are must for the next few days at least. Listen to your dentist and he should not steer you wrong. After all he does want your return business doesn't he? Good luck and hope you get along well.

i love my dentist my teeth are nice and clean and beautiful because of him and I would go to him everyday if i could

I know the last denist I went to tried to pull my tooth out before it was numb. I scremed. I was pretty mad. Make sure he gives you a shot of navocane to numb it and make sure you are numb enough.

All my experiances with dentists have been good. I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled also after the first of the month.
