ChaCha gives folks like me (and maybe you!) the chance to earn some money from home while doing something that we enjoy -- searching the web. When you sign up to be a guide, you pick three areas of expertize. These are your keywords. Then you begin doing training on those keywords. Experienced guides play the part of searchers and ask you to find them websites based on your chosen words. They also answer questions and often provide hints and tips to help you learn to be a great guide. At the end of each session you get a rating. Once you have about 10 positively rated searches on any one of your keywords, you get to go Pro. This can take as little as an hour to do. From that point forward you begin to earn money. Actual web-searchers will ask you queries. You just find them sites that fit their needs and then they rate your results. The pay scale is difficult to explain, but the site suggests that you can make up to $10 per hour of active searching time. You get to set your own hours: log in and out whenever you like.
For more info, take a peek at the ABC News review of ChaCha... This IS NOT a get rich quick scheme. It IS a great, fun way to make some extra cash. And who couldn't use that?If you'd like an invitation, just send an e-mail to bungirl (at) gmail (dot) com with the subject "ChaCha." Serious interest only please. I have a limited number of invites right now.

I would like to join chacha, but I guess the membership is only open for U.S. residents only! I want to know whether they will open up for the users from other countries to join as their guide, can you clarify it with your other collegues or higher officials in chacha. I even got an invite to join but gosh, I could not join because of this restriction, i feel they lift this restriction soon, so that others like me who are very keen to join chacha.com will benefit from this.

I have checked into this once before, but they were not accepting anyone new. I just have a few questions then I will send an email. How often do you get paid? What payment method do they use? How old is the company? Where is the homebase of the company? Thank you in advance.

Check out the Press and About Us links on the bottom of ChaCha.com to find out more about the company and the AWESOME press they have been getting. For a while the company was not accepting new guides as they wanted to clear out the non-active guides and catch up on the backlog of guides who requested invites from their website. ChaCha offers their guides who reach "Master" status the chance to build a network and that is why you are seeing us all post messages about invites now. They just cleared the backlog and now the Masters are being allowed to build their networks again. You get paid as often as you like. You may get paid directly to your bank account or get a ChaCha debit card through First Internet Bank. Anytime you have money built up, you hit a button on your profile and the money is instantly zapped to your debit card (there is a $2 transaction fee -- similar to atm fee).

ChaCha is a great and legit work at home opportunity. I've personally earned over $300 and make an average of $20-30 a day! :)
BunGirl thanks for spreading the word! ChaCha is one of the most promising job opportunities on the net.
Also -- if you've already given out all your invites, I have all 8 of mine left. So if anyone else missed out, feel free to let me know. :)

I do ChaCha also. I find it a lot of fun. It is currently in Beta, and we are experiencing bugs from time to time, but I have made about $340 in the last 2 1/2 months. I have invites left, if you are interested please pm me your e-mail address (since OP ran out). I am only interested in bringing on people who are truly interested and aren't sending out their e-mail address to tons of guidese looking for an invite.

Tyson here and congrats BunGirl! I just made Master Guide and have some invites to pass out as well. I started a discussion in case this one gets too full. It's for guides and those wanting invites. My suggestion is after checking out BunGirl's suggestions and ChaCha.com, reply to a discussion or add me as a friend. I think I speak for all ChaCha guides when I ask that only those who want to devote atleast a few hours a week to working as a guide respond. This is not something that you will get rich on as already stated and you cannot sit back after establishing a network and expect to get paid.
I think it's rather addictive and hope you will feel the ChaCha fire as well with us!
