Instructions how E-Gold works here in the Philippines

I just hope that MyLot won't delete this very informative discussion again. I have so many PM messages receive and most are asking how E-Gold works here in the Philippines. And here is how for the first timers: First you must have atleast $10 in your earnings on or before end of the month and then go to www.e-gold.comand create a new account. be sure to use the SRK for your passphrase/password to prevent hackers. Then update your MyLot payment settings and put your E-gold acct # in the payment option box. And when on or before 15th day of the following month comes check your E-Gold account and if you see that MyLot pays you already go to this site http://2356700.e-gold.com/ for easy access and just type your e-gold account details there. Be sure to copy the batch number that E-Gold will give you because it is needed in pinoygoldexchange.com (PGX). Once made, go to http://www.pinoygoldexchange.net/sellgold_main.php and put your true details on the boxes below in that site. Theres no need to register in PGX. Heres some details from PGX's list of banks where they can deposit by wire transfer:
"As of this time, PGX will only do bank deposits and bank wire transfers to the following banks."

• Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
• BPI Family Bank
• Equitable-PCI Bank
• Metro Bank
• SMART Money

As far as I read your alert the only thing that I disobeyed was the referral link that I just copied and sorry for that. Not really, you can create an e-gold account even if you have no money to fund it yet. The important thing is that you have an egold account to deposit your earnings to.

SRK is kindda virtual keyboard, you can use that to input pass phrase to prevent keyloggers.
But thats not enough.

thanks for posting this discussion again. i really do not know why myLot removed your discussion. I have copied and pasted your thread to my email so that i can print it. i have a smartmoney card and i am planning to transfer my e-gold funds to my samrtmoney card. the thing is when i called customer service and went to the smart wireless center they said that the account number is the same as the card number. i tried a test transfer of $5.00 and it did not go through. what type of card would you be using to get your e-gold funds? are you familiar with the smartmoney card? any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

where is your $5.00 came from? is it your earnings in mylot? I think the minimum would be $10, lol. I used my BDO ATM account. until now my sister haven't checked it yet but according to PGX, they deposited it yesterday in the afternoon. I guess I really have to wait. :) My sister has a SmartMoney Card because she uses it for her e-loading business

i don't know how long the wire transfer will be because my ATM is on my sister. If only I have it I could answer your questions immediately, lol! I'll ask my friends if they get their payment already na, i'll inform you. :)

Although paypal is available now in the Phils., but as of this time it can only be used for payment, not receiving.

Thanks for this post. Some of my friends have been asking me the same thing, and I'll just point them to this thread if they have further questions.
FYI, I've been very happy with PGX (PinoyGoldExchange). Actually, if you're a Filipino living abroad, you can use a variety of exchangers in your area. But as far as I know, the only Philippine-based exchanger so far is PGX.

Sorry but I don't know how it works in Pakistan. Maybe you can search for E-Gold exchange company there so you can exchange your gold to cash.

Thnak for ur info..But i have one doubt...Is there any limit to get the payment? In paypal, the limit to withdraw/ send the money is $100USD. After that we need to add a credit card to withdraw the money. Is there like this in E-gold?

I've been looking for this discussion for ages now since I first got my first pay via e-Gold. I have also created a topic abit relative to this but my inquiry there is which is the better mode / service / system / online exchange of encashing my eGold money. Although this topic dedicate the encashment via pinoy gold exchange, I read from other posters that they recommend the services of ePay as it offers a lot cheaper fee. Again, please enlighten me so I can finally encash my $12.00. Kudos to certified_alice for a very informative post and thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information! Thank god I haven't signup yet with egold if I did I think I could haven't used that SRK thing and might have problem with hackers in the future.
