Warne to hit 700
The forecast of a spin-friendly WACA wicket could see champion Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne become the first bowler to claim 700 Test wickets during the third Ashes Test. After his fifth day heroics in Adelaide, Warne is poised on 694 Test wickets and sure to reach the milestone during the series. While Warne would like to reach the mark in front of his home crowd at the MCG in the fourth Test, starting on December 26, he could do so at the WACA when the third Test starts here on Thursday.

He should retire as soon as possible & he should take care of his family & life.
Without him the possibilties of winning test matches will reduce. They are winning the matches only due to their senior players like warne, mcgrath, etc..

shane warne on tendulkar
well after declaring retirement shane warne told to the press abt toughest part to bowl at sachin and lara...i liked his interview and i want's to share vith u all
Champion leg spinner Shane Warne on Thursday said Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara had been the toughest to bowl to in his 15-year international career which will come to an end after the fifth Ashes Test next month.
"Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara are the two best batsmen of my era. I think those two guys have been the toughest at international level," said Warne, Test cricket's highest wicket-taker with 699 scalps.

On Lara, the 37-year-old bowler said, "I cannot believe it, it's just amazing his placement in cricket. He can dominate a game, as we've seen over the years, no matter who's bowling."
Warne, who once admitted having nightmares about Tendulkar dancing down the track to thrash him, said he was amazed how the Indian managed to carry the expectations of a billion people on his shoulder. delete
"I really admire Sachin for what he has to go through everyday in India, with a billion people wanting him to do well," he said.
"There's 50,000 people outside the stadium and when he walks up to bat they all charge in. One of the hardest things when you've been a successful player is everybody else's expectations, they can wear you down after a while."
Warne pointed out Australia's loss to Sri Lanka in 1996 as the lowest point of his career.
The Adelaide win which gave Australia the coveted Ashes this season, and the 1992 Test against Sri Lanka where Warne helped his team to a comeback win were rated as high points
i think the will have lot of pain in next ashesh
