We all know that all of these (HYIPs, Autosurfs, Egold games, etc) are all scams. So why people still joins? easy money? Hobby? What else reason?

People sign up to scammers because they are greedy. They never think, "This is too good to be true" or "How does the web-site make their money" or even "If it was this easy to make money wouldn't everyone do it?". It's the same thing with people who respond to those emails from Nigeria from people saying they'd like to transfer money into their account. Their greed seems to override their rational brains (though they moan like anything afterwards when they find out they've been scammed).

In the beginning it is ignorance. It is enthusiasm to make money some how or the other. They fall for lovely, enticing writing by these web sites who are day time robbers. Even after knowing that most of the sites are scams, if anyone joins is due to greed.

I think most of the people that join these scams are simply one step away from losing it all and are looking for a quick fix to save them. I would like to see a percentage of people that were duped by these scams ended up losing their homes etc...
