I think that if someone is strong in their beliefs and has a lot of faith in their their religion a work of fiction that is known to be based on false evidence about a Prior of Scion that never existed then Christianity would have no problem.

God has given us the freedom to choose. If we choose to be weak, then nobody can do anything about it.
The Da Vinci Code is ONLY a fiction. If one would tag a work of fiction belieavable...then there is also a tendency for one to believe in the existence of superheroes, dracula, etc...?
In reading a novel or watching a movie, one must instill in his mind that this is only a masterpiece by somebody who is fortunate enough to be gifted with a good writing talent and imagination. Otherwise, reading books or watching movies is not advisable.
I believe in the ingenuity of the author of the Da Vinci Code... bacause I was entertained. But It doesnt necessarily mean that I believe what has been told in the novel.
