ill be in afghanistan in a few months where it will be extremely hot and dry. i was there last summer as well but had a very hard time keeping cool. i was constantly dripping of sweat which is quite disgusting. whenever we'd ride in the car, i'd get up to find my back completely wet from sweat. i felt like nobody else was sweating as much as me, but i guess its cause they are used to the heat. what are ways to keep cool and to keep from sweating so much? are there any really good deodorants that can prevent you from sweating so much??

I do not think you can keep sweat-free in a hot environment like Afgan. However, to keep cool, try wearing thin clothings and bring a portable (battery-powered) fan along.. It would help though. Yes, not being used to the hot weather would make one sweat a lot and sweating is good to, it is how our body react to the heat by means of cooling it down. As for deodorant, I dont use any, so, I would not be able to advice you on this. So, what are you doing going to a war-torn country?.. Tour of duty or leisure?.. I sure hope it is not the latter.. lol..
