i think that INDIA will not be next U.S but U.S will be the next india becouse the rate at which they are adopting the indian culture i dont think that india could achieve the U.s status before they achieve indias.where as technologies are concerned india could not be the next u.s becouse us is 10 years ahead then india its not possible till the development rate is upgraded.

That was a really strange reply.Half the people in US dont know what Indian culture is all about.80% of them dont even know what all languages are spoken here.

My opinion is the India will never be a such strong state and a superpower as now the US is, i think there isn't any state that can equalise the US. Good luck!

I would be India.. India can't be change.
India has a capability to rule all over the world as you see this is a republic country.
You see Indian Software engineers, they have richest mind in all over the world.
its really a silly Question.

ive never been to india,i have nothing against indian people,i love the food,the women are beautiful and the womens clothes are fantastic,but ive just never fancied going there or china,japan or hong kong.im sure theyre amazing places but im a nervous person and i imagine all of these places to be unfreindly and dangerous.i think its because their cultures are so alien to me

I'd have to say that to be superpower first of all you should look around see where China is at. I am Asian and I really think we shouldn't want to be superpower. Our heritage is much much stronger and older than the US culture. You probably have enough troops to send to war, due to your population, but what will your history say about it? "Another warmonger step up hence India lost 30% of its population, but that's OK, we can make more and we don't need immigrants to do that"
Be proud of your nationality, but don't be ultranationalist like those idiots Mussolini and Hitler. Be patriotic, but don't send troops to take care of somebody else's business.

what made you to think that US is powerful than India.I don't think India would be next US.India has its own prestige and powerful country in Asia.India proved itself in Afganistan war by not allowing US fighter-plan to land in its terrotry to fill petrol.India proved itself by opposing US in Iraq war.you know in 1999 India was testing some nuclear weapon in rajashtan desert..US asked not to test but India didn't listined to US..=))...don't think US can beat India.
