It's very easy to find the correct size of the bra cup. First measure the length around your rib cage under your breasts. Then measure around the fullest part of your bosom at the level of your nipple. The difference between the two will give you the cup size. The cup size is the letter part for instance 34 B, 34 denotes the band size whereas B denotes the cup size. Check that the bra you buy fits snugly around and not dig into your breast. You should be able to fit one or two fingers under the band comfortably. Check whether the cups fabric is wrinkeled. If yes, then that bra is big for you. You should not have an extra space in the cup. Your breast should completely fill the cup. If there is a space then reduce the cup size. Band size can be obtained by measuring body circumference either under or above the breasts and then adding a specified amount to account because the rib cage is generally wider at the height of the breasts than at the point at which one measures Use a bra that is not tight and without underwires as underwires can create extra pressure and tightnes. The weight of the bust is supported by the shoulder strap. See that they are neither too tight that they leave a red mark nor are they too loose that they drop from your shoulders. Adjust the strap accordingly. Its very common to have one breast larger than the other. Buy a bra with the cup size that fits the bigger one. How do you usually choose your bras? I saw an Oprah show about this, which had some good advice. Basically the same thing you're saying. For me, I have found that bra sized vary quite a bit between brands so I have to try them on before purchasing. My size is not consistent.
